SUPERIOR QUALITY MAGNETIC COOLANT FILTERS

Magnetic separators provide a unique solution for removing iron and steel chips that can contaminate the coolant used in metalworking operations. At Keller, we provide a variety of magnetic separation equipment to suit different industrial requirements:

1. In-sump magnetic assemblies are placed inside the coolant sump to remove iron and steel chips. As with all Keller magnetic separators, our in-sump assemblies include powerful 5,000 gauss rare earth magnetic filters. Our in-sump products can be installed either horizontally or vertically. They are easy to install and can be supplied with removable stainless sleeves for easy cleaning.
2. Inline magnetic filters are ideal for removing iron and steel chips from coolant systems. In addition to the dual 5,000 Gauss magnetic rods employed in these assemblies, what makes these designs especially attractive is that the magnetic elements are designed to fit standard filter housings.  This allows the end-user the option to purchase just the magnetic filter elements for existing housings.  It also provides Keller access to standard housings, which allows for Keller to provide full assemblies at a fraction of the cost of competitive systems.  These magnetic filtration systems:

• Can be used for both water-based lubricants or straight oils,
• Continuously remove metal chips in an external pumping circuit, and
• Can be used in conjunction with a Keller TKO pump/skimmer unit to reduce solids entering the tramp oil skimmer.

3. Magnetic rod inserts for bag filters are cost-effective magnetic separators that can be used in conjunction with Keller’s bag filters to extend the life of filter bags by 7 times or more. Magnets for bag filters are placed inside the bag filter to eliminate metal particles before coolant flows through the filter bag. Rod inserts are very simple to install, and include the neoprene bumpers that protect the filter bag, so that no installation hardware is necessary. The removable stainless cleaning sleeve is included wit hall bag filter magnetic assemblies.
